Activities
No day at camp is “typical” however there is a structure and flow to each day. Our program directors keep us on schedule and facilitate all the fun, while our medical staff keeps everyone’s blood sugar in check. Snacks and meals are overseen by our team of camp dietitians. High and low-impact activities vary throughout the day. We end each day with a special camp event (concert, carnival, talent show) and/or campfire.
Our schedule for the week will be full of traditional camp activities, diabetes education, and special guests!

Examples of camp activities:
- Swimming in the pool

“I love Camp Surefire because of all the fun things you get to do like campfires, carnival, talent show, and so much more! You get to meet all T1Ds and become friends. You get to have sleepovers with your new friends. I’m super duper extra excited to go back this summer!”
